The Information Technology (IT) Department is responsible for designing, supporting, and implementing the physical data and voice networks, the communication link between computer devices, and the presentation of application software systems securely to all County employees.
IT also provides the digital foundation and architecture framework to seamlessly integrate core business systems and services. IT is accountable for managing the technical infrastructure pertaining to digital information, storage, retention, protection, and recovery of data assets across County divisions. Additionally, the IT Department is responsible for providing technical support services to County divisions, including mission critical areas (911 Dispatch, Detention Center, Justice Divisions) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
